The news is out from what we already understood to be. The first is only a no-duh: email is ineffective as a marketing communications tool. Spam filters and spam laws are keeping marketeers from getting through using email. What is news is that one social media, which has been spoken about a lot is actually showing some real value: blogging.
Blogging is something we all know about, but the reality is that we do have more to say that we think is valuable because we learn things every day from our daily life on the Internet. If we could only learn to focus that information away from what was on the menu for lunch and on to a actual, industry oriented topic, we could get a group following that blog.
Still unconvinced that this is something you would like to spend time with? Hire a "ghost blogger", who will take an article you found interesting once a week and condense it down to your information. We at Legacy work with many ghost bloggers and can set you up with someone who can write for your industry specifically.
Your gain? When someone types in "Insurance costs" in Google, it could be that your name and your blog will rise to the top and you will be labled as an expert in people's mind. When this happens, people will call you, instead you having to call people.
New polling information shows this all to be true from the Online Media Daily. Click here to read.
